As part of our mission to reduce hunger, Nlekota Charity Foundation carried out a food and essential items distributon exercise aimed at supporting deprived children in the community. The outreach was designed to address immediate hunger and provide basic support to children from vulnerable households. During the program, over 900 children were fed and recieved essential items to support their well-being. The activity brought relief and joy to many families, especially those facing economic hardship,and helped ensure that the children had access to nutritious meals for the day. As part of our mission to preserve life, Nlekota Charity Foundation organized a school health outreach aimed at improving hygiene practices among children. During the session, pupils were taught the importance of personal hygiene, proper handwashing techniques, and how these simple habits can prevent common diseases. The program was interactive and engaging, with demonstartions on correct handwashing steps and discussions on keeping their environment clean. At the end of the session, edutaional materials were distributed to support their learning and encourage regular school attendance. A part of our mission to preserve life, Nlekota Charity Foundation partnered with a Primary Health Care Center to promote routine immunization among children. The outreach focused on educating parents and caregivers about the importance of vaccines in protecting children from preventable diseases such as measles,polio and tuberculosis. In addition to the education sessions, eligible children recieved their routine immunizations at the health center. This collaboration highlights the power of partnerships in imporving community health.
